A new case: identify the medical issue and missing materials first.

The case lawyer has a stack of medical or wellness-service records and needs to know which originals to obtain, which expert to involve and whether full research warrants commissioning.

How does this scope address your concerns?

You need more than a vague opinion and do not want crucial records overlooked or an expensive case package recommended before its scope is clear.

When this scope fits
  • One defined medical or health-effect question, limited lawfully authorized materials and an agreed cost cap.
When the scope needs adjusting
  • An assessment that determines fault, causal responsibility, disability grade or compensation. Forensic assessment, legal representation and expert appearances require separate arrangements.

Scope & acceptance

Work covered by the quote

  • Illustrative hourly scope: 1 defined medical issue with limited materials and specified professional roles, an agreed rate and prepaid ceiling, recorded against actual hours.
  • Pilot references: initial assessment CNY 5,000–15,000; CNY 1,500–4,000/hour. Fictional example: reserve 6 hours × 2,000, capped at CNY 12,000; 4 actual hours cost 8,000. Unused 4,000 is settled under the contract, not presented as recovered loss.

Acceptance criteria

  • The agreed issue links to original locations, gaps, contemporaneous evidence direction, reviewers and next steps. Settlement follows completed tasks and actual hours, not a favorable conclusion.

Checking the evidence

  • Volumes and budgets illustrate a use of the existing proposed pilot specification. Scenarios are hypothetical, not completed client projects, real transactions or judicially accepted results. Scope, authority, jurisdiction, personnel, deadlines and a formal quote require confirmation.
  • The case lawyer defines the question. This is a limited assessment; unverified originals, provenance or medical points remain explicitly pending.
  • The materials workflow references civil proceedings in mainland China: retain originals, original media and provenance, with evidence identifiers. The lawyer reviews lawfulness, relevance, facts to be proved and submission procedure. An appropriately qualified expert reviews medical questions; any forensic assessment is separately undertaken by an eligible professional or institution under the applicable process. Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas procedures, translations and data handling are checked separately; no universal admissibility is promised.

Case issues, the relevant date and original materials define the role of the medical evidence.

Show effect size and confidence separately

Present important outcomes, relative and absolute effects, available data and certainty, with reasons for downgrading.

Scope & access conditions

GRADE evaluates a body of evidence for a particular outcome. Database inclusion or one study does not automatically establish high certainty.

These references support problem definition and evidence appraisal. Your conclusions still require project-specific sources and professional review.

The value of this commissionEOS scopes one issue into supporting, contrary and missing evidence plus next records, limiting spend before expansion.

Reuse and updates after delivery
  • Source indexes, material lists and completed searches can carry forward. Reusable work is identified and duplicate work removed from a subsequent quote.

Agree reuse rights, retention and export periods, and future update fees when scoping.

Questions before commissioning

Can we commission only an initial assessment?

Yes. Define one issue, material volume, roles and a fee cap first. You decide whether to proceed after the assessment; it does not automatically become a full engagement.

Will the assessment tell us whether we will win?

It identifies evidence direction, gaps and work scope. The lawyer undertakes legal analysis and experts address professional questions. Litigation success, responsibility shares and judicial acceptance cannot be promised.

How do we start, and should we upload the full records?

Submit a free anonymous scoping request with the issue, jurisdiction, procedural stage, volume and deadline. The current form does not accept medical attachments or sensitive original images. Agreed materials follow confirmation of authority, confidentiality, a secure transfer channel, reviewers and the contract. Contract and payment are confirmed separately.
